Robert Dean Jarvis (born May 7, 1986), is a British actor who will play young James Potter, Harry Potter's father, in the movie adaptation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007).
He has performed on stage, with the Weaver Hughes Ensemble.
He made a brief appearance in Nickelodeon show Genie In The House and did some voice work for the acclaimed film The History Boys. He was most recently seen in a new epispode of the BBC crime drama Waking the Dead, which aired in the UK in February 2007.
He was born in Somerset, England and attended the Littlehampton Community School and Chichester College.
Robbie joined the National Youth Theatre aged 16 and has since performed with the company several times. He holds BTEC National Diploma in acting, and studied briefly at RADA.
He is a keen footballer and basketball player.
